Monarch Offers High Speed / High Torque Spindles Monarch Machine Tool Company announces the addition of two optional high speed/high torque spindles. The new offering will be a 12,000 and 15,000 RPM 50 taper spindle patterned after the companies 10,000 RPM unit. The spindle design will still incorprate both roller and ball bearings to provide maximum stiffness and elminate axial and radial deflection. The two speed gearbox will still be a standard Monarch feature and has been redesigned to handle the increased spindle RPM and remain thermally stable. This spindle design will allow Monarch customers to take high speed cuts in aluminum and will be stiff enough for heavy milling in exotic materials. |
