New Product Release - Contouring Tilting Head Option The Monarch Machine Tool Company announces the release of a contouring tilting head option for its entire VMC line of vertical machining centers. The tilt head is capable of tiling +/- 75 degress along the X-Axis. Tilt motion speed is up to 75 rpm for contouring cuts or can be clamped in position for heavier milling cuts. Spindle RPM options are available from 8,000 rpm - 24,000 rpm. By adding an optional rotary table a fully functional 5 axis platform is provided. This provides the ideal base for aircraft or power generation blades, cylinder head, impeller, mold & die or oil field part generation. This tilting head feature will be available on machines from 18" to 30 " travel up to 36" x 240" travel. |
